About
Nandera Lolila is a forestry researcher and educator specializing in forest ecology, climate change, certification, landscape restoration, wood sciences, and science communication. She is currently an Assistant Lecturer at Sokoine University of Agriculture (Tanzania), where she teaches and researches forest certification and non-timber forest products. She previously served as a Tutorial Assistant in environmental impact assessment and forest ecology.
Nandera holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Sokoine University of Agriculture. Her research has been published in PLoS ONE and the Tanzania Journal of Forestry and Nature Conservation, covering topics such as tree species composition in tropical sub-montane forests and the efficiency of mobile sawmilling industries.
