Extensive experience in climate change projects, biodiversity, ecosystem services and carbon assessment, REDD+ pilot project: Enhancing Tanzanian Capacity to Deliver Short and Long-Term Data on Forest Carbon Stocks (including the mangrove ecosystem) (2011-2015), Integrating Livelihoods and Multiple Biodiversity Values in Wetlands Management (2010-2014) and Development Corridors Partnership (Kenya and Tanzania, 2019-2021). Team leader for biodiversity baseline studies for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA).

Roles: Co–Applicant, with active coordination role of activities across, research design, methodology, data collection and analyses, and dissemination of results (WP4).
